“Tell Me That You Love Me” has a stirring and haunting vibe to it. Schneider shows his unapologetic side and a great deal of attitude.
Blood & Bones is his seventh studio release since his breakthrough solo album, Lonelyland. He had celebrated this musical effort with a headlining performance at Austin’s Blues on the Green, a KGSR radio station event.
Schneider was born in Michigan and raised in Germany. He had studied piano and guitar and would perform at family gatherings and he would back his father on drums at nightclubs in Germany and Texas. At the University of Texas El Paso, he studied art, prior to moving to Austin, where he established himself as a working musician.
His baritone vocals on “Tell Me That You Love Me” are rich and evocative. The song is lyrically and sonically gripping, and that will resonate well with his fans and listeners. There is a rawness and authenticity to this track, which makes it stand out by a mile. Schneider’s music is worth more than just a passing glance. “Tell Me That You Love Me” garners an A rating.
“Tell Me That You Love Me” is available on iTunes, and on Spotify.
