Review: Bjork marvelous on new studio album ‘Utopia’ (Includes first-hand account)

It is the follow-up to her previous break-up album, Vulnicura. As Digital Journal reported, Bjork’s new album is available to purchase via cryptocurrency. The CD opens with “Arisen My Senses” and it is followed by the poetic and mellifluous “Blissing Me” and the equally gorgeous “The Gate.”

After “Paradisia,” it closes with “Saint” and “Future Forever.” Bjork is not afraid to showcase her vulnerability as a singer-songwriter on Utopia, and she emerges as one true song stylist. She takes risks and those risks have paid off in this well-crafted collection of 14 songs. The flute arrangements on this album are divine.

This album is proof that Bjork deserves a future nomination for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, since she is a true musical innovator and trailblazer.

The Verdict

Overall, Bjork possesses a crystalline voice that is simply too good to be mortal. Her new album Utopia is sheer bliss, from start to finish, as she takes her fans and listeners on a musical journey. Bjork manages to constantly reinvent herself sonically and lyrically. The fact that this record is available to purchase via cryptocurrency adds to its appeal. Utopia garners an A rating.

Utopia is available for pre-order on iTunes.
