Review: Big Shot’s Mike DelGuidice stuns on new single ‘Mona Lisa’ (Includes first-hand account)

The song was recorded at Cove City Sound Studios in Glen Cove. The background video is the actual take of the song that DelGuidice cut in the booth.

The mixing of the song was done by Ben Wisch, who served as the producer for the Grammy-winning song “Walkin’ in Memphis” by Marc Cohn.

“Mona Lisa’ resonated well with his fans at The Paramount, where he premiered it there a few weeks prior, on April 1. It will be featured as a track on a forthcoming studio album by DelGuidice.

The Verdict

Overall, “Mona Lisa” is one of Mike DelGuidice’s best singles to date. It would be perfect for any motion picture soundtrack, or to be heard on the adult contemporary radio stations. Anything DelGuidice sings or writes comes from the heart, and “Mona Lisa” is no different. It garners an A rating.
