Review: Bad Wolves will blow your mind with new album ‘Disobey’ (Includes first-hand account)

The CD opens with the spitfire “Officer Down,” and it is followed by the rocking and edgy “Learn to Live,” as well as “No Masters.” The fourth song on the album is their remake of the inter-generational smash single “Zombie” by The Cranberries has been certified platinum in Canada, as well as gold in America and Australia. The proceeds of this song will go to the children of Cranberries front-woman Dolores O’Riordan.

“Run for Your Life” is a heavy track, comprised of catchy melodies, while the ballad “Remember When” is sheer bliss. There is a lot of variety of this new music effort from Bad Wolves.

After “The Conversation,” Disobey closes with the upbeat “Shape Shifter” and on a fitting note, with “Toast to the Ghost.”

Disobey is available on iTunes.

On June 19, Bad Wolves will be performing in New York City at Gramercy Theatre.

The Verdict

Overall, Bad Wolves have released a solid album with Disobey. It is recommended for fans of hard rock and heavy metal music. They have also paid a moving homage to Dolores O’Riordan with their version of “Zombie.” This collection garners an A- rating. Well done.
