Review: Backstreet Boys will melt your heart with new pop single (Includes first-hand account)

Backstreet Boys celebrated their 25th anniversary in the music business, and they have inked a record deal with RCA Records. Their released their vivacious new single “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart,” which was directed by long-time collaborators Rich + Tone. “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” was penned by Stephen Wrabel, and it was produced by Stuart Crichton and Jamie Hartman.

It is upbeat, fun and edgy, with neat piano and synths. The song’s hook and melodies are infectious. It will certainly strike a chord with their die-hard fans who have been with them through thick and thin over the past two decades.

On July 13, Backstreet Boys will perform in Central Park in New York City as part of the Good Morning America Summer Concert Series.

Backstreet Boys are comprised of AJ McLean, Howie D., Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson and Brian Littrell.

“Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” is available on iTunes, and on Spotify.

The Verdict

Overall, “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” deserves to be the next smash single by the Backstreet Boys. Their sound is refreshing and they manage to stay as relevant as ever. Their new pop song and its music video garners an A rating. Well done.
