Review: Ariana Grande and John Legend charm on Beauty and the Beast video (Includes first-hand account)

Grande and Legend are really able to dust off the original “Beauty and the Beast” duet recording (sung by Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson) and make it their own, and introduce it to a new generation of Beauty and the Beast fans.

The music video that Grande and Legend filmed for the song is visually-striking, featuring stunning cinematography. Within a matter of a few hours, it has gone viral.

The Verdict

Overall, Ariana Grande and John Legend are wonderful on their new version of the “Beauty and the Beast” theme song. It is warm and refreshing, and it garners an A rating. With their crisp vocals, they are able to take their fans and listeners to a “tale as old as time.”
