Review: American Idol’s Nick Fradiani glorious on new ‘I’ll Wait for You’ (Includes first-hand account)

The song is mid-tempo, charming and a great deal of fun. It has an organic, acoustic vibe to it, with stunning instrumentation; moreover, Fradiani’s rumbling vocals are reminiscent of such acclaimed artists as Pat Monahan of Train meets Jason Mraz, which ought to be taken as a major compliment.

“I’ll Wait For You” is the opening track on his forthcoming EP, Where We Left Off, which is expected to be released on October 13.

The Verdict

Overall, Nick Fradiani is back stronger than ever with his sweet new single, “I’ll Wait For You.” It is comprised of strong melodies, hooks and velvet vocals from the former Season 14 Idol champ. It garners an A rating.

“I’ll Wait For You” is available on iTunes and on Spotify.
