article imageReview: American Idol's Ada Vox soars on new single 'Because of You' Special

By Markos Papadatos     Sep 7, 2018 in Music
Drag queen Ada Vox (of American Idol fame) has released her new vivacious radio single "Because of You" via Cleopatra Records.
It is sassy, midtempo, spitfire and edgy, and it stands out by a mile. The song has a retro vibe to it where the listener can recall Beyonce and the late but great Whitney Houston. Lyrically, "Because of You" has an optimistic message to it, which will resonate well with listeners.
"Because of You" was penned by Janice Robinson, who has worked with such acclaimed dance songstresses as Deborah Cox and Kristine W, and it was subsequently produced by Bimbo Jones, who served as a producer for such global music stars as Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Kylie Minogue.
While Vox's live performances on this past season of American Idol on ABC were all well-received by the judges (Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan) and the public, "Because of You" showcases her distinct talent and her own artistry. The song is available on Spotify.
The Verdict
Overall, it looks like Ada Vox will be the new queen of the dance-floor with an empowering tune such as "Because of You." She is poised for stardom, and her future in the music business should be bright and promising. The song garners an A rating.
