Review: Alter Bridge electrifying on live version of ‘The Other Side’ (Includes first-hand account)

The video is comprised of Alter Bridge’s performance montage video from their 2017 appearance at Download UK and The O2 Arena in London.

The drum work on “The Other Side” by Scott Phillips is impeccable, and the same holds true for the piercing, dynamic vocals of lead singerMyles Kennedy, which help elevate the tune to a higher level. Alter Bridge, as a band, nails this song as a whole. They sure know how to work a crowd, especially in Europe. “The Other Side” garners an A rating.

Aside from front-man Myles Kennedy and Scott Phillips on drums, Alter Bridge is made up of Grammy winner Mark Tremonti on lead guitar and vocals, as well as Brian Marshall on bass.

Live At The O2 Arena + Rarities is available for pre-order on iTunes. It will officially be released on September 8 via Napalm Records. In addition, the disc features the previously unreleased tracks “Cruel Sun,” “Solace” and “Breathe.”
