Op-Ed: Claire Lynch should win bluegrass Grammy for ‘North by South’ CD

This marks her third career Grammy nomination in the “Best Bluegrass Album” category. The album itself garnered a rave review from Digital Journal, and she covers songs by some of Canada’s greatest singer-songwriters.

Lynch truly possesses the voice of an angel, and her storytelling ability is quite convincing. She only gets better with age and experience. It is no wonder that she has been crowned “Female Vocalist of the Year” by the prestigious International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) three times in her career: 1997, 2010 and 2013.

Her North by South album is available for purchase on iTunes.
