Oliver Heldens announces new collaboration ‘Underwater Melon’

An acclaimed Dutch DJ and electronic music producer, Heldens is putting out a free download via his official website today entitled “Underwater Melon,” where he is allowing his fans and listeners to work with him on this brand new collaboration.

Songwriters, graphic designers, vocalists and musicians can submit their ideas to him, as well as prospective lyrics, suggested artwork and of course, actual vocals. From all of these submissions, Heldens will select his personal favorite, and he will give that artist (with a “creative mind”) a chance to finish the track with him, which is a neat feature.

As Digital Journal previously reported, Heldens joined the campaign for Mission Live Ocean, where he would dive for cleaner oceans.

On Saturday, September 2, Heldens will be performing at Electric Zoo: The 6th Boro at the Riverside Stage at Randall’s Island Park in New York.
