Nick Heyward to release new solo album ‘Woodland Echoes’

This new project has garnered critical acclaim from such media outlets as Guardian, Mojo and AllMusic. It will be released on November 3 on Red River/BFE Entertainment.

Heyward’s appreciation for making music is reflected on all 12 songs on this breezy, smart pop album. Throughout his respected career in the music business, he has been putting out quality pop songs since the early 80’s with his band, Haircut One Hundred. The band earned four Top 10 songs in the United Kingdom, as well as two Top 40 songs in the United States. Their smash singles included “”Nobody’s Fool,” “Fantastic Day,” “Love Plus One” and “Favourite Shirts (Boy Meets Girl).” His music has garnered favorable reviews from music critics, fans and listeners.

His forthcoming studio effort, Woodland Echoes, was recorded at his son, Oliver’s, recording studio, on a houseboat in Key West, and Zak Starkey’s Salo Sound studio deep in the United Kingdom countryside.

The songs on his new album include the opening tune “Love is the Key by the Sea,” “Mountaintop,” “The Stars,” “Beautiful Morning,” “Who?” “Forest of Love,” “Baby Blue Sky,” “I Can See Her,” “Perfect Sunday Sun,” “New Beginning,” “I Got a Lot” and “For Always.”
