By Markos Papadatos     Mar 29, 2017 in Music
Nash Country Pulse Poll has made some predictions on the upcoming Academy of Country Music (ACM) awards based on input from country music fans and listeners.
For the coveted "Entertainer of the Year" category, fans picked Keith Urban and Luke Bryan as the winners in a two-way tie. They also selected Tim McGraw's 27th No. 1 single "Humble and Kind" to take home the accolade for the 2017 ACM "Song of the Year." Speaking of McGraw, they listed him and his wife, Faith Hill, as the "Cutest Couple" in country music, where they bested Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood.
The listeners expect Keith Urban to triumph in the "Album of the Year" category for Ripcord, while Carrie Underwood won by a landslide as the star that will most likely "Rock the Red Carpet."
In a few wittier categories, fans expect Blake Shelton to announce the "wrong winner" and they expect him to be bleeped during the award show in a separate fan voting. The artist that is most likely to cry at this award show, according to readers, is newcomer Kelsea Ballerini. Finally, the fans would love to see a surprise performance by George Strait.
