Huntington - Big Shot lead singer Mike DelGuidice sat down and chatted with Digital Journal prior to his August 18 concert at The Paramount in Huntington.
For DelGuidice, every time he gets to play at The Paramount, it is very special, since it reminds him of the time that he was invited to become a member of Billy Joel's band. "I am doing fantastic," he said. "When I first walked in, it smelled like the first time I got the gig with Billy. It was awesome!"
One of his all-time favorite rockers is the iconic Robert Plant (of Led Zeppelin), and he was thrilled to hear that he has a new studio album Carry Fire coming out in October. "I've got to check that out," he said. "I love Robert Plant!"
In the meantime, DelGuidice is excited to perform at Madison Square Garden tomorrow with Billy Joel, for yet another record-breaking performance, as part of the "Piano Man's" monthly residency at the World's Most Famous Arena. "The Garden is going to be great! I just hope I don't hurt my voice in the next day," he said. "Monday is going to be fun."
