Mark McGrath and AJ McLean join 98 Degrees in Los Angeles

McGrath surprised pop fans during the My2K concert at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, where he joined 98 Degrees on stage, during their 90’s medley of hits, where McGrath sang lead vocals on Sugar Ray’s chart-topping single “Fly.”

“See if you recognize this one,” Nick Lachey said, and it was followed by a subsequent surprise, where AJ McLean came out on stage to perform the Backstreet Boys’ signature ballad, “I Want It That Way.”

It is evident that both artists (McGrath and McLean) and their surprise cameos were well-received, as they shared the stage with Nick Lachey, Justin Jeffre, Jeff Timmons and Drew Lachey from 98 Degrees.

Last month, Joey Fatone from N’ Sync made a surprise appearance at their show at West Palm Beach in Florida, where they sang “Bye Bye Bye.”

Their My2K tour stop at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury in New York received a favorable review from Digital Journal.
