Miami - Madonna raises over $7.5 million for her charity event Raising Malawi on December 2, as part of an "Evening of Music, Art, Mischief."
Her charitable event took place at the Faena Forum in Miami Beach, Florida. It was made possible through the support from MDNA Skin, BVLGARI, as well as Perrier Jouet. The event was produced by Josh Wood Productions and AAB.
Madonna's special guests included Oscar-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio, magician David Blaine, television host James Corden, Ariana Grande, Paris Hilton, Calvin Klein, Sean Penn and Chris Rock, among many others.
The "Material Girl" went on to perform 10 tunes, which included a cover of Britney Spears' "Toxic," and an unplugged version of "Holiday."
All proceeds from this event will benefit Raising Malawi, the non-profit organization that was founded by Madonna in 2006, which works to build Malawi's first pediatric surgery and intensive care unit. To learn more about Raising Malawi, check out its official website.
