Lorrie will join her brother, songwriter Marty Morgan, for a special evening of music at the internationally renowned Bluebird Café in Nashville, Tennessee, on August 2. Marty and Lorrie are the children of the late Grand Ole Opry star and Country Music Hall of Famer George Morgan. The country music siblings will perform together, where they will share heartfelt songs and memorable stories.
This forthcoming performance at the Bluebird Café will take place in-the-round, and it will feature several surprise musical guests who will partake in this event, as they celebrate the timeless music of the Morgan family, which has spanned several generations.
Throughout her lengthy career in country music, Lorrie has sold in excess of 12 million records worldwide. She was the first female country artist to ever have three consecutive albums certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
Marty Morgan is the creative director and co-owner of Red Hot Music Concepts in Nashville, a business specializing in commercial jingles and television theme songs. He has enjoyed a successful career in advertising as a writer and a voiceover artist, and he was a former writer for the hit TV show Nashville Now. He has written over 400 songs, which have included cuts by his sister Lorrie, as well as country artists Don Gibson and Faron Young.
Most recently, Lorrie Morgan joined Agency33 for press representation, and she will release new music.
