For her latest music video for “Angels We Have Heard on High,” Stirling partnered with Masterpass by Mastercard, where they provided gifts to pay tribute to first responders in Houston. “I love working with brands that are excited about helping good causes. Together, we were able to donate a lot to the Hurricane Relief programs. There is still so much work to be done out there,” she said.
The songstress purchased these gifts in her latest video by tapping Masterpass, Mastercard’s digital wallet, at the check-out line. “That was awesome. I was so excited to work with them. They were excited to do this project with me and to give back,” she said. “Masterpass is very easy to use and it’s efficient, and it makes shopping quick and easy. Everything is going digital, so to have a payment method in that realm is really nice.”
Stirling competed on the reality dancing competition, Dancing with the Stars, where she was partnered with professional dancer Mark Ballas. “That was awesome. It was so exhausting, and it was so much work, but it was an unbelievable experience. I had the best partner. I learned so much,” she said.
Two months ago, Stirling released her new Christmas album, Warmer in the Winter, which sits at No. 2 on the Billboard Holiday albums charts. She just sold over 20,000 units last week, thus placing her ahead of such heavyweights as Gwen Stefani, Michael Buble, Josh Groban and Reba McEntire. “That is crazy to me. All of those albums are my favorite holiday albums, so to be up there with them on the charts is really cool to me. It has been amazing to tour with the album to share it,” she said.
