Laurie Berkner to perform at Hofstra University in New York

Berkner will be playing the John Cranford Adams Playhouse at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York, and her show will start at 3 p.m. This family show is presented by the Marion and Aaron Gural JCC, and all of the proceeds will go towards The S.H.O.P., the Gural JCC’s new Sustenance Hope Opportunities Place, which provides support services to those in need.

The songstress is a true trailblazer in children’s music, who is loved by generations of fans (parents and children alike) for over two decades. She will be performing her classics hits Bumblebee (Buzz Buzz),” “Victor Vito,” “We Are The Dinosaurs,” and “Pig on Her Head.” Her performance will include songs from her Superhero album, which will include “Bicycle,” “Bubbles,” and “I’ve Got So Much To Give.”

USA Today has dubbed Berkner as the “undisputed queen of kindie rock, and The New York Times has hailed her as “the Adele of the preschool crowd.”

She was the first artist to ever appear in music videos on Nick Jr. and she was featured in nearly all the episodes of Jack’s Big Music Show. Her videos appear regularly on NBCUniversal’s Universal Kids channel, and she has released 12 albums, including her most recent studio offering, Laurie Berkner: The Dance Remixes, which is available on iTunes by clicking here.
