Bill Miller, the CEO of Icon Entertainment, made the announcement that he will be opening this food and beverage venue in downtown Nashville. This venue is conveniently located next to the Johnny Cash Museum, and he promises that it will be a distinct and welcoming addition to the town.
In a press statement, Miller shared that he is beyond stoked to expand their successful relationship with the Cash Estate. The Icon Entertainment CEO stated that his relationship with the Cash family extends to almost his entire life. “There is no greater pleasure for me and my family than continuing our partnership well into the future,” Miller said, prior to noting that the impression Johnny Cash left on Nashville is “indelible”; moreover, Johnny Cash’s Kitchen and Saloon is a confirmation that his presence will be a “dominant force” in Nashville for many years to come.
The beloved country couple, Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash, were known for their hospitality, their authenticity and their warmth, especially for anybody who was fortunate enough to dine at their house. The goal of Johnny Cash’s Kitchen and Saloon is to bring that same hospitality and authenticity to their future patrons, thus paying tribute to the legacy of the Cash family.
Johnny Cash’s Kitchen and Saloon is expected to open in the late spring of 2019. This new venture will follow the tradition of providing quality and fresh food that represents the best that the southern cuisine has to offer.
