Timmons praised his love for Boyz II Men and he regards them as a major musical influence. His greatest moment with them was being on stage with them as part of the “Package” tour with New Kids on the Block.
He shared that the acclaimed R&B superstars (Nathan Morris, Shawn Stockman and Wanya Morris) were his “idols,” and a major inspiration for his own group, the Grammy-nominated quartet 98 Degrees.
Timmons closed his video homage to Boyz II Men by singing an a cappella version of their R&B classic hit”It’s So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday,” and Timmons did a great job on the tune.
Speaking of Boyz II Men, they are featured as special musical guests on country singer Chris Young’s forthcoming holiday studio album, It Must Be Christmas, where they lend their harmonies on “Silent Night.”
