“Don’t Waste the Rain” was written by Rice and produced by Noah Henson, who has worked with country singer Kane Brown, and he is the guitarist of Brantley Gilbert. It is the follow-up to “Women, Water and Beer” and “When The Fish Didn’t Bite.” “This one is even better. It is definitely a little steamier,” he admitted.
This new song portrays the sensual side of Rice, immersing himself fully into the passionate lyrics while still showcasing his signature rich and baritone vocals.
Regarding his plans for the future, he said, “We are going into the studio soon, where we will be working on new music. We already have places that have picked up the music video for when it comes out. That was very exciting for me. Hopefully, more and more will keep loving it.”
