Interview: Musician David Clark discusses the Sting Tribute show (Includes interview)

On Friday, December 9, Clark will be bringing his String tribute show at KJ Farrell’s in Bellmore in New York. “The Sting show will take place in an intimate venue. KJ Farrell’s is a nice, cozy little place, and I am actually looking forward to that. I started the band a few years ago, but I had to get Ken Cino involved, because I love his work. He has been fantastic,” Clark said. “It is really fun. We are hopeful that we will make something out of this Sting tribute show, and I hope that people will gravitate towards it.”

Aside from Clark on lead vocals and bass, the Sting Tribute show is comprised of Ken Cino on lead guitar and vocals, Eric Diaz on drums and vocals, as well as Mike Jewell on keyboards. “I really like working with Ken. He is a really cool dude,” he said.

Clark had nothing but the kindest remarks for fellow Long Island songstress Amber Ferrari. “Amber is great. I saw her the other night. She is a sweetheart. I love her. She works really hard, and she reminds me of me,” he said.
