The CD features collaborations with Brad Paisley, Toby Keith, Josh and Charles Kelley, Lit, Granger Smith, and Tyler Farr, among others. “I have truly been one of the luckiest artists ever because I have been able to work with so many amazing artists. Everyone on this record is a friend of mine and I have a personal relationship with each one of them. I’m so humbled to have them share their talent with me,” he said.
On the album’s song selection process, he said, “I generally write 90 percent of what I record but this record is very different. I reached out to my songwriter friends and ask them to send me songs. I wanted to hear everything, not something they thought was specific for me. I got some amazing songs and pushed myself as far as I ever have.”
Regarding the album’s title, he said, “I was thinking about different titles for the record and I just looked at my tattoo. I had this idea for my tattoo a long time ago. I thought, well I gotta pour my ‘Love’ into making it and I ‘Hope’ people will like it and I gotta have ‘Faith’ that they will. Those are the three things I hope we all never loose. Love Hope Faith.”
When asked if he has a personal favorite song on this project, he responded, “I never really have a personal favorite on any record. They all mean something different to me and I love all of them.”
On his plans for the rest of 2017, he said, “I just wanna play as much as possible and see the crowd’s reaction from these new songs.”
For his fans, he concluded, “Thank You for taking the journey with me as I continue to try and be a better artist for myself, but mostly for them. I would not be here without all the fans. P. S. I Love y’all!”
