Electronic group Cash Cash talks ‘Just Warmin’ Up’ campaign (Includes interview)

Nissin Foods’ iconic Cup Noodles brand in America is in the middle of its new “Just Warmin’ Up” campaign, which gives aspiring musicians the opportunity to catch their big break. The brand has selected five up-and-coming DJs, which were narrowed from a larger pool, to compete for the life-changing opportunity to open a headlining performance by Cash Cash. Fans can get involved on SoundCloud to select the winning DJ. “The funny part is that Cup Noodles is one of our late night snacks when we are in the studio working long hours, and you are lazy and have nothing to cook. It was ironic that the whole process of ‘Just Warmin’ Up’ was giving a chance for upcoming producers and artists to get discovered, since that is how we got discovered,” Jean Paul Makhlouf said. “For us, this is our way to give back to upcoming producers with Cup Noodles, which is one of our favorite treats.”

On March 24, Cash Cash will be playing a special concert at the Avalon in Los Angeles, California, for Cup Noodles. “Get involved. It’s a great opportunity called ‘Just Warmin’ Up,’ and it’s a great way to get heard and get discovered,” he said.

Cash Cash’s plans for the rest of 2017 are to release new music. “We have lots of new music. We have an album out right now, and we have 15 new songs that we are working on, and we will release them as singles every six to eight weeks. We are really excited about the new sounds and the new vibes, and we are excited for people to hear them,” he said.

Jean Paul praised their show at Electric Zoo: Wild Island last year in Randall’s Island Park, New York, as one of the best shows that they have ever played in their entire lives. “Just hearing the whole crowd singing back our songs was unbelievable. We had all our friends and family out. It was one of those shows that we will never forget for the rest of our lives,” he said.
