Drew Baldridge to release new country single ‘Guns & Roses’

“Guns & Roses,” which is off Baldridge’s forthcoming sophomore studio effort, will impact the country stations on September 5. It will be available on digital retailers starting tomorrow (September 1), and it will be released on Cold River Records.

Baldridge’s new single, “Guns & Roses,” is co-written by Baldridge, as well as songwriters Tim Nichols and Chris Stevens.

He explained that the song is about how two people can be different, but at the same time, fit together. He subsequently described it as an “autobiographical” tune, and something that was easy to write on paper. He shared that he was blown away the moment that he heard it in the studio, and he is excited to have it out to his fans via country radio.

This year, Baldridge was a Top 5 finalist for Macy’s iHeartRadio Rising Star competition, and the sole country artist to make it in the Top 5.
