Salt Lake - Dan Reynolds, the front-man of the Grammy-winning rock band Imagine Dragons, tugs at the heart on the new HBO documentary "Believers."
In this moving documentary, the lead singer of Imagine Dragons goes on a new mission to explore how the Mormon Church treats its LGBTQ members. "There are far too many Mormons taking their lives," he said, in the documentary, thus raising awareness to the frightening statistics.
Reynolds noted that he wants the LoveLoud Festival to be a "safe space for everybody to feel the love and acceptance together for the LGBTQ."
The Verdict
Overall, Believer is a powerful and inspirational documentary film, where Dan Reynolds is using his platform as a multi-platinum-selling artist to make a difference in people's lives, especially the LGBTQ community, thanks to the LoveLoud Foundation and the LoveLoud Festival. This documentary feature is a must-see for all, especially fans of Imagine Dragons. It garners an A rating.
The LoveLoud Festival will take place on July 28, 2018 in Salt Lake City, Utah, and its proceeds will support the LGBTQ community, where they will aid charities as The Trevor Project, Encircle, and the Tegan and Sara Foundation. The line-up of performers will include Dan Reynolds and his group Imagine Dragons, Zedd, Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda, Grace Vandeerwaal, and Tyler Glenn from Neon Trees, among others.
