By Markos Papadatos     Aug 12, 2017 in Music
Bluegrass star Dale Ann Bradley will be releasing her self-titled new studio album on August 18, via Pinecastle Records.
She is nominated for "Female Vocalist of the Year" at the upcoming International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) awards, and Bradley will be inducted into the coveted Kentucky Music Hall of Fame next year.
The new album was produced by Bradley, and it features a duet with Country Music Hall of Famer Vince Gill, where they collaborate on the Stanley Brothers classic "I Think I'll Just Go Away."
This marks the second studio effort, which Bradley has produced herself, following her critically-acclaimed Pocket Full of Keys album, which garnered a 2016 Grammy nomination for "Best Bluegrass Album."
The songs on the new album are eclectic ranging from traditional to gospel. She penned several of the songs herself, and even covered Lenny LeBlanc's "Champagne Lady."
