Their North American headlining tour kicks off next month, and it will include a tour stop at Nassau Coliseum in New York on April 15. “We actually rehearsed for a couple of days, and then we take off. We are hitting a lot of places that we didn’t go to before,” Collen said. “We haven’t played Nassau Coliseum in years. That should be fun. It is great to play an indoor show in the New York area. We’ve been playing Jones Beach for years.”
Collen is finishing up producing the new Tesla album. “We are pretty much done, but we have the lead vocals on two songs to do,” he said. “We are like a factory. It is pretty amazing actually. It’s pretty cool and very exciting. The album is amazing.”
The acclaimed rocker duets with actress and singer Taryn Manning on “Pour Some Sugar on Me” for Comedy Jam on Comedy Central, which will air on April 19. “That was killer and a lot of fun actually. She was really cool as well,” she said.
He hopes to have a new live Delta Deep album this year, and he will be working on a new studio album with his side blues project, Delta Deep. He also hopes that there will be more shows with Delta Deep this year.
When asked what motivates his every day, he said, “I like the fact that I’m busy all the time. I’m constantly working.”
