article imageCatching up with Morgan Page: Grammy-nominated DJ and producer Special

By Markos Papadatos     Feb 25, 2017 in Music
New York - Grammy-nominated DJ and producer Morgan Page sat down and chatted with me at an office in Manhattan about his music and plans for the future.
Regarding his track "Don't Give Up," he said, "The track was a long process. It's always fun to work with one of my favorite vocalists. She has been doing her rock career, and she is very big in that world. I wanted to get her back in the studio and work on new songs. I had her come in and we tracked the vocal live."
Page had nothing but the kindest remarks about being signed to Armada Music. "It's great. I love being on a dance label. This is the first time I've ever actually been on a dance level. I'm excited to see what happens, and keep moving forward," he said.
His plans for the future are quite busy. He will be playing more shows in North America, and he will do a tour in China and Indonesia. "I will be staying international. There will be a lot more new music on the way," he hinted.
Page listed Daft Punk, Prodigy, The Crystal Method and The Chemical Brothers as his biggest musical influences. His proudest moments include being nominated for a Grammy award, as well as playing Coachella and Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC). "Those are always big moments," he said.
He listed songstresses Adele and Andra Day as his dream female collaboration choices in music. As his alternate career choice, Page noted that he would love to do photography.
Page defined success as the "feeling of being grateful." "Success is always fleeting. If I'm grateful, I'm happy," he concluded.
His track "Don't Give Up," featuring Lissie, is available on iTunes.
