Brenda Lee noted that she restructured her team as she joins the Webster PR roster and she named her long-time assistant, Janet Wilcox, as Manager of Brenda Lee Productions.
“We’ve got some big plans in the works,” said Brenda Lee, who is affectionately known as “Little Miss Dynamite.” She wanted to sign with Kirt Webster and his team, in an effort to “stay on top of all of her exciting projects.”
In May of 2017, Lee will return to the iconic Grand Ole Opry as the “Country Classic Spotlight Artist,” and she will be adding more tour dates.
This past December, her holiday classic, “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” catapulted to No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Streaming Songs and it peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Holiday Airplay charts. Her song was named the “best Christmas song of all time” by a female artist by Digital Journal.
Throughout her illustrious career in the music business, Lee has sold in excess of 100 million records worldwide and charted in more categories (pop, R&B, adult contemporary, rock, easy listening and country) than any other woman in the history of recorded music. She is a member of three prestigious halls of fame: the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Rockabilly Hall of Fame.
