University Park - On July 8, 2017, country mega-star Blake Shelton will be headlining the Happy Valley Jam, which will take place in Beaver Stadium on the campus of Penn State University.
Joining "The Voice" coach on this line-up will be country stars Chris Young and country duo Big & Rich, as well as David Ray and Adley Stump.
Throughout his career in the country music industry, Shelton was honored as the "Male Vocalist of the Year" by the Country Music Association (CMA) five consecutive times from 2010 to 2014, placing him in a three-way tie with George Strait and Vince Gill for the most wins; moreover, in 2012, Shelton was crowned "Entertainer of the Year" by the CMA.
In addition, 22 of his radio singles reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country charts, where 17 of his singles were consecutive chart-toppers. In 2011, Shelton became a coach on the NBC reality singing competition series, The Voice.
