New Haven - On April 28, Mike DelGuidice and the Billy Joel tribute band, Big Shot, will be performing at College Street Music Hall in New Haven, Connecticut.
The show in New Haven has an 8 p.m. start time. Aside from Mike DelGuidice on lead vocals and piano (as Billy Joel), Big Shot is made up of Carmine Giglio on keyboards, Nick Dimichino on bass, John Scarpulla on saxophone, and such long-time members of Billy Joel's live band as Tommy Byrnes on lead guitar, and Chuck Burgi on drums. DelGuidice has been the newest member of Billy Joel's band since 2013, where he plays rhythm guitar and background vocals.
Most recently, DelGuidice was interviewed by WTNH News 8's Ryan Kristafer and Teresa Dufour in New Haven, Connecticut, where he discussed his upcoming show at the College Street Music Hall on April 28. DelGuidice also spoke about his transition from cover band performer to touring with the "Piano Man" himself as part of his live band.
This weekend, on April 21, Big Shot will be performing at Mulcahy's Pub and Concert Hall in Wantagh on Long Island, as part of their Nassau County residency.
