Ben Rue launches Accu-Chek at iHeart Country Festival appearance

The event marked the official launch of the endorsement campaign for the country performer who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the young age of 14.

A native of Oregon, Ben Rue shared his excitement of teaming up with Accu-Chek on the launch of his new studio album Back to the Nights, which will be released on May 19. As a person with diabetes, Rue understands the obstacles that those diagnosed with diabetes face on an everyday basis. As a result, he is happy to share his story and raise awareness about the products and services that Accu-Chek provides.

His debut single “I Can’t Wait (Be My Wife)” spent 14 weeks in the Top 60 on the Billboard Hot Country Airplay charts. This summer, Rue will be making his debut at the CMA Music Festival Exhibit Hall where he will be greeting fans daily throughout the festival.

Back to the Nights is available for pre-order on iTunes.
