Armin van Buuren to teach dance tutorial series with MasterClass

The world renowned Dutch producer and DJ will provide insight into the electronic dance music (EDM) scene in his first ever online masterclass. Aspiring students (DJs and producers) will get an inside look in Armin’s creative process as he creates a track from scratch specifically for his MasterClass. Armin holds twenty years experience in dance music, and he will share insights on the technical aspects of producing, mixing, arranging, and building drops.

Armin van Buuren is one of the most influential figures in the global electronic dance industry, where he has topped the Billboard dance charts, attracted tens of millions of worldwide fans and listeners to his weekly radio show “A State of Trance.” IN addition, Armin was named the “World’s Top DJ” by DJ Magazine, five times in his career, where he holds the record for the most wins. In 2014, his smash single “This Is What It Feels Like,” with Trevor Guthrie, earned a Grammy nomination for “Best Dance Recording.”

The Dutch mega-star noted that in order to be a successful DJ and artist, it is not enough to just know how to spin records. One needs to stand out, and make their own records, writer music, as well as make their own mash-ups and remixes for their DJ sets. “I’m truly excited to share my passion for producing music and DJing in my MasterClass,” Armin van Buuren said, in a press statement.
