American Idol winner Kris Allen discusses tour with Parachute (Includes interview)

On April 18, Allen and Parachute will be performing at Bowery Ballroom in New York City. “I am excited to play the Bowery Ballroom. I know it’s one of the top venues in New York City,” he said. “Going out with Parachute is going to be fun. I’ve known those guys and I have been a fan of their music for a long time.”

His show at Gramercy Theatre in New York last year was “awesome.” “It was a good night and a great amount of people there,” Allen said. “I’m excited to get back to New York City. That will be fun.”

Allen shared that fatherhood has been going great for him, being a dad to his son Oliver and daughter Rose Elizabeth. He listed Grammy winner Norah Jones as his dream female duet choice, prior to praising her for being great. “I love her music, and I’m such a fan,” he said.
