Amber Ferrari talks Pat Benatar tribute show in Patchogue (Includes interview)

This concert will take place on October 14 at 89 North, in Suffolk County, Long Island. “You can expect to hear some of our favorite Pat Benatar songs, and maybe an original or two,” she said.

Most recently, on July 15, she performed her “Benatar” tribute show at Theatre Three in Port Jefferson, which garnered an enormous response from fans and rock listeners. “It felt great to see and hear that everyone loved the show. There was also an awesome reaction from everyone when I came out dressed like Pat,” she said.

Regarding her plans for the future, Ferrari said, “We plan on performing originals more, possibly once a month. We are also performing our all Janis Joplin Show ‘Joplin’s Pearl‘ on November 17 at The Suffolk Theater in Riverhead, New York. Finally, on New Year’s Eve, we will be performing our Madonna Tribute ‘Material Girl,’ and that venue will be announced soon,” she said.

As a musician, Ferrari discussed how technology has changed the music industry. “I guess I would have to say that I didn’t predict technology wiping out record stores,” she said, about the digital transformation of the music scene. “I really miss them!”

Ferrari revealed that she is an avid user of technology on a daily basis, especially her cell phone.

Throughout her music career, Ferrari won “Best Singer from Long Island” four times, and her band was named “Best Band- Noncover” by the “Best of Long Island” Press.
