New Orleans - The NBA announced Thursday that two of hip-hop's hottest artists, Kendrick Lamar and Pharrell, will be among the performers at the All-Star Game.
According to Allhiphop, Pharrell will perform during player introductions and has promised "surprise guests."
Kendrick Lamar will perform before the Slam Dunk Contest.
The All-Star Game's halftime show will feature Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Earth, Wind and Fire, Janelle Monae, Dr. John, and Gary Clark Jr, The Associated Press reports.
Clark, who recently won a Grammy for "Best Traditional R&B Performance," will also perform the national anthem. Serena Ryder will perform the Canadian national anthem.
The NBA All-Star Game airs live on TNT on February 16, will be played from New Orleans' Smoothie King Center.
