At 22, Hayes joins fellow country mega-star Taylor Swift, electronic dance music (EDM) producers Avicii and Zedd, global pop superstars Lady Gaga and Katy Perry, as well as multiple Grammy-nominated singing sensation Lorde on his list compiled by
Forbes Magazine.
This marks his debut on this list. Last year, he toured with country singer Carrie Underwood as part of her "Blown Away" tour and he subsequently had scored three Grammy nominations thanks to the success of his self-titled debut album, and his chart-topping hit single "Wanted."
This month, he is nominated for a
Grammy award for "Best Country Solo Performance" for "I Want Crazy."
Congratulations to
Hunter Hayes on this well-deserved recognition. Hopefully, there will be many more of these honors to come, especially since he has eight more years to go before he hits 30 years old.
