Nashville - On December 31, veteran country music star Hank Williams Jr. received the "2013 Patriot Award" from Operation Troop Aid.
It was presented to him by Operation Troop Aid president, Mark H. Woods, prior to him taking the stage in Nashville. Woods is a veteran of the U.S. Navy for the past 21 years and the founder and CEO of Operation Troop Aid.
Hank Williams Jr. was honored to for life-long achievement for serving the U.S. troops and was subsequently made an honorary board member. A video clip of his award's presentation can be seen on his official Facebook page.
