A groom in Wales in the UK went to an amazing amount of effort for his future bride. Steven Williams, 29, went on to Twitter and Facebook and over a period of about a year, contacted all her favorite celebrities.
He then persuaded the celebrities, which included for instance Betsy Brandt of Breaking Bad fame, to put together video clips wishing his future wife, Ceri, 27, all the best in the future. Over a dozen of the stars said OK and the result of Williams' efforts can be seen above in the
12-minute video.
It seems that Ceri enjoys singing the song Confrontation from the musical Les Miserables, and the video opens with her future hubby singing that song on stage along with John Owen-Jones, who plays the character Jean Valjean in the West End production.
Following on is a series of sports people, comedians and actors from both the UK and the USA appear giving congratulatory messages.
In the video description, Williams gives thanks to everyone involved as follows:
John Owen Jones, Sam Warburton, Jimmy Carr, Derek Brockway, Gavin Creel, Jared Gertner, Alan Fletcher, Mark Gatiss, Kevin Mckidd, Jonathan Ross, Betsy Brandt, Ricky Wilson, Roberto Martinez, Frank Turner, Stuart Heritage, Stewart Francis, Humphrey Ker, Matthew Rhys, Iwan Rheon, Mick Foley, Matt Lucas, Steven Jones, Adam Jones, Nia Jones, Tom Naylor, Geraint Stone, Ffion Williams and, or course, Ceri.
Since then the happy couple have tied the knot and are now enjoying a three-week honeymoon in the USA.
And Ceri? "He told me he was going to do something but I didn't know it was going to be such a surprise," she said.
"I thought it was amazing and I couldn't believe it. But 10 minutes later it was still on, I was absolutely stunned."
