Review: Kevin Dickson and Jack Ketsoyan soar on ‘Guilty Pleasure’ book (Includes first-hand account)

Guilty Pleasure is available starting June 5, 2018, via Imprint, a part of Macmillan, LLC. The novel is the highly-anticipated sequel to Blind Item, and it is a fascinating read, especially since it takes place one week after their previous book left off. It tells the story of Nicola facing several obstacles as a celebrity publicist, especially since she has to represent her former boyfriend, Seamus, when he is released from rehab, all while Gaynor, is boss, is struggling to keep the publicity company afloat. There are many plots and twists, and scandals along the way, similar to a true Hollywood story.

What makes this novel even more relevant and unique is that anybody who is in the publicity or media/press world can relate to the circumstances depicted, despite being fictional.

Guilty Pleasure is available on Amazon.

The Verdict

Overall, Kevin Dickson and Jack Ketsoyan are able to immerse their readers in their latest book, Guilty Pleasure. It is a book (comprised of 432 easy-to-read pages) that any entertainment professional can relate to in one way or another; moreover, it can be read in two or three sittings. It is filled with suspense, drama, mystery, romance, lust, sex and wit. The novel is well-written and the authors are not afraid to hold anything back. Guilty Pleasure is certain to be their reading audience’s ‘guilty pleasure’ this summer, and the timing for the book is just perfect. Grab a bottle of wine, and let Dickson and Ketsoyan take you on a new dark yet refreshing Hollywood adventure. Guilty Pleasure garners an A rating.
