Review: James More wows on his magical debut on the ‘Ellen’ show (Includes first-hand account)

The British magician began his magic routine with a “card trick like no other,” where he asked Ellen DeGeneres to select a card from the deck (excluding the Jokers), and then asked her to change her initial card selection, only to find that particular card with her name written on the back of it.

A neat close-up magic trick was the one where More performed with a Finding Dory ticket stub, and he subsequently turned a blank DVD into a DVD with a Finding Dory sticker on it, where ironically enough Ellen DeGeneres voices the character of Dory.

More ended his appearance on the Ellen show with the following dangerous demonstration, where he was tied up in chains by his two male assistants, and cut in half, only to restore himself back together.

The Verdict

Each time, James More always manages to reinvent himself as a magician, and he always put on new and refreshing tricks and demonstrations. The ones he performed on the Ellen show garnered five out of five stars.
