article imageReview: Issy Simpson gives emotional performance on Britain's Got Talent Special

By Markos Papadatos     Jun 3, 2017 in Entertainment
Eight-year-old magician Issy Simpson was able to put on an astounding performance on the "Britain's Got Talent" finale, where she was crowned runner-up of this year's competition.
It may have not been the most complicated magic trick to date, but Issy was able to tell a moving story, about family and she dedicated it to her four-year-old brother, Dexter.
Initially, Issy was able to read Simon Cowell's mind and picked out his card (with his name written in the back of the card); moreover, when she was telling her story, she was able to "magically" make snow come out of her hands, as she stood next to her brother's seat in the audience. In doing so, she was able to touch her fans and viewers on an emotional level. She was gracious and confident throughout her magic routine.
The Verdict
Overall, the judges on Britain's Got Talent got it right! Issy Simpson belongs in the next Harry Potter film, or a whimsical film of any sort. J.K. Rowling ought to make that phone call. She is a breath of fresh air. Regardless, her future is limitless.
