article imageReview: Issy Simpson enthralling on 'Britain's Got Talent' semi-finals Special

On May 30, eight-year-old magician Issy Simpson gave an enthralling live performance on the "Britain's Got Talent" semi-finals.
Her presentation for her performance was exceptional, where it began with an illusion and then she was able to read all four judges' minds. The set design was whimsical and it transported the viewer or audience member to a mystical world, reminiscent of a Harry Potter film.
Simpson told the judges their thoughts as they were written down in a sealed white envelope (consisting of her initial predictions) and she read them aloud in story form, which was quite poetic.
Towards the end of the presentation, she was able to synthesize all of the information together in a clever way. Despite an honest mistake by judge Alesha Dixon (as she read her number 30515 instead of 30517), Simpson handed herself well, and left everybody in goosebumps and total awe of her talent.
As a result, Simpson made it through to the finals after winning the public vote. The young magician was overcome with emotion, and her mother was there to comfort her as the results were revealed. She is one of the favorites to win the eleventh season of Britain's Got Talent, and she would be a deserving winner should that happen.
