Emmy-nominated actor Pierson Fodé (known for playing Thomas Forrester) has announced that he parted ways with the hit daytime drama series "The Bold and The Beautiful."
Fodé shared this news via a moving post on his social networks Instagram and Facebook.
He noted that the decision to say goodbye to the daytime soap did not come easy (with sleepless nights and multiple questions). He described it as a "surreal experience," and went on to thank everybody at CBS for this acting opportunity, including his fellow actors and boss, Mr. Bradley Bell, the executive producer and head writer of The Bold and The Beautiful. Most importantly, he thanked his fans for their support and for championing him throughout his tenure on the show.
"At some point I will likely have to pass the baton of Thomas to another hideous looking guy, but when the time comes for him to step into my shoes, I hope my performance will haunt him for the rest of his life," he stated in his post.
For his role as Thomas Forrester, Fodé garnered two Emmy nominations in the "Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series" category.
In his interview with Digital Journal, Fodé revealed that next year, he is starring as football player Brad Gaines in the upcoming football movie, It's Time, which is based on a true story.
