Bobbi was featured on the April 2016 cover of Oprah Magazine. “Oh my god. It was the most amazing experience of my life, especially since I had a dream with a vision of that seven to 10 years before,” she said. “We didn’t know that Oprah was going to be there. My friend told me that they wanted people’s weight loss stories for the magazine, so I wrote a little bit about my life’s experiences, not thinking that I was going to get picked, and they told me to come in for the interview. We had a blizzard last January and we had to go on the following morning, and it was a big production, which felt like a movie set. It was the most amazing thing.”
She was able to identify with Oprah, since she had many similar life experiences that Oprah had growing up. “Watching her on television and her sharing her stories with the rest of the world made me go on,” Bobbi said. “To speak with her was the most amazing thing.”
Speaking of Oprah, people would always come to Bobbi and they would always ask for her advice and opinions on things, which earned her the nickname of “Bobbi O.”
She is drawn to music due to its universal message and healing. “I have a lot of friends that are musicians,” she said. “Music teaches people different vibrations.”
On October 19, Bobbi will be appearing on Dr. Oz with acclaimed Long Island personalities Kim Russo and Laura Lynne Jackson, as part of “Power of 3.” “Me, Kim and Laura will be touring the United States and we will be in Miami on January 21,” she said. “We all have different styles.”
This past week, Bobbi Allison found out that she was nominated for the 2017 “Best of Long Island” psychic honor as part of the Long Island Press. “It is just an honor to be nominated,” she admitted.
