article imageLisa Lampanelli talks North Shore Animal League at The Paramount Special

Huntington - Acclaimed comedian Lisa Lampanelli chatted with me about her benefit show at The Paramount, where the proceeds benefit the North Shore Animal League.
"Oh my God! I love it here. I've never been here before," Lampanelli said, about performing at The Paramount. "It's totally beautiful. I usually lie and say that about every theater, but this time I actually mean it. I'm glad to be here for the doggies and even the kittens, even though kittens aren't my favorite. I must admit three won my heart out in the truck and I may have to take them home."

The "Queen of Mean" even poked some fun at this music and entertainment journalist. "Markos, that cheap weasel, always gets free tickets off of me, even for a benefit, I say 'let him in,' since he's doing a story. I say this to all you comics out there: 'Let this guy in!' He's a freaking real comedy fan and not a douchebag who is going to tear you apart, even though he's Greek, and that's a problem."
Lampanelli's stand-up comedy benefit show at The Paramount on Long Island garnered a rave review from Digital Journal.
