Interview: The Clairvoyants talk America’s Got Talent and future (Includes interview)

They were the runner-up winners of the eleventh season of America’s Got Talent. “That was more than we’ve ever dreamed of. Making it in the Top 10 was already a big deal,” Amélie said, with a sweet laugh. “We were just delighted and so happy. When we made it to the last two, it was crazy. It felt like a dream.”

Thommy added, “The whole journey was a roller coaster, and in the end, it was really great for us, and we enjoyed it. We were very happy to have this opportunity.

Another fond memory for them this year was being on the Ellen show. “That was a lot of fun,” Thommy admitted. “We always try to surprise people.”

Next month, The Clairvoyants will be performing as part of “The Illusionists — Turn of the Century” in the Palace Theatre in Times Square New York City, where the late illusionist Harry Houdini performed 100 years earlier. “We are very excited to join the Illusionists’ Broadway show this winter,” Thommy said. “Holiday season in New York is amazing,” Amélie added.

Each day, The Clairvoyants are motivated simply by working together. “We love what we do on stage, we love living together and travelling together,” Amélie said. “We love to wow the audience, and to make them forget the worries of everyday life. We want them to enjoy some magical moments.”

Thommy continued, “We are very happy where we are right now. After the Broadway run, we will start our tour, where we will tour America and we will also tour in Europe. We want to continue what we do, and we hope we can do that as long as possible.”
