Davidson also received a nomination for the "Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series" Emmy award in 2011.
In addition, the Soap Opera Digest Awards honored Davidson four times: twice for "Outstanding Daytime Hero" in 1990 and 1991, and twice for "Best Supporting Actor" in 1992 and 1997, respectively.
